Episode 08 concludes Season One of STRETCH.  In this episode I share my own story.  I knew my story would be part of those shared this season since it was through the changes that I made in my life that STRETCH was born.

Looking back on my life changes I saw that it was the stories that my friends shared of their own lives that helped me through my challenging times. Hearing how they looked at the trials they faced and by listening to the mental mindsets they had in place I could see that by changing my perspective my outlook on my own situation improved.

I am so thankful to make it to the end of Season One.  The journey was easy, hard, emotional, and freeing.  The amount and variety of emotions I felt during this process will make this time of my life memorable and unforgettable.

I hope this podcast will help you STRETCH towards the goals you set for yourself and the new reality you want to create in your life.

Laura and I live in the same small town and only got the opportunity to meet once STRETCH was released.  She contacted me through a mutual friend, Annette, and we met for coffee.  During our chat she unveiled significant moments in her life that she identified as new experiences that had not yet been shared in Season One.

Laura’s story delves into our relationships with those in our family.  Laura explores the changes in support she received as a child to those she experiences now that her mother has passed.

Laura’s interview contained so many good nuggets that I was unable to share them in this one episode.  Knowing that was the case with the others I made a decision to launch STRETCH YouTube to continue inspiration between seasons.

Eugenio and I had never talked prior to our interview together.  We were introduced by Annette who met Eugenio at an acting workshop.  She relayed his story to me and I knew at once he would be a perfect addition to Season One.  Eugenio is from Italy and grew up in Venice.  His story begins with his fascination with the law and his journey to become an attorney.  His goal at the start of the journey was to protect and promote equality among all.  Noble as that is, he was denying a large part of himself – a dream he was afraid to pursue.

Tommy and I met my first day at work in Park City.  We were the only two people in town that went to Iowa State University and that connection became the start to the amazing friendship we share.  Tommy’s outlook constantly boggles my mind due to the way he can simplify things.  Tommy can easily see situations for what they are and is quick to determine if they are right for him or if there needs to be a change.

I am excited to share his story and philosophy with you in this episode.
